Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Effective date: 15 October 2026

Rate My Professor ("the App"), operated by AceMedia, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. This policy applies to all content submitted through the App, including lecturer/university ratings, comments, profile information, and any other user-generated content.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

We do not allow any user, on any part of the App, to:

• Upload, post, or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
• Sexualize, solicit, or exploit a minor in any way, including through text, images, or links.
• Use the App to groom, contact, or coerce a minor for sexual purposes.
• Share, request, or promote content that endangers the safety or wellbeing of a minor.

Enforcement

Any content or account found to violate this policy will be removed and permanently banned without prior notice. Where required by law, we will report violations to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent body in the applicable jurisdiction, and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

Reporting

If you encounter content or behaviour on the App that you believe violates this policy, please report it immediately to hello@acemedia.co.za. Include as much detail as possible (screenshots, the lecturer/university page, date/time) so we can investigate and act quickly. Reports are reviewed as a priority and are kept confidential.
